In 1990, Jean Rollin was hired to transform some footage Jesús Franco had shot in 1971 into a new jungle adventure film. Rollin gave up after a few days of shooting in a Madrid hotel garden. The film remains an unreleased short curiosity.

Detective Beaubien, armed only with his vast knowledge and a copy of the Necronomicon, investigates mysterious disappearances on a windswept island.

In a laboratory, a wind turbine blade oscillates. The closer it comes to exhaustion, the more it seems to reveal a form of vitality. As a typhoon approaches, energy infrastructures, pitaya plantations and colonial memories compose a landscape where the boundaries between human and non-human begin to dissolve, carried by the winds and the ghosts of yesterday.

John Rockefeller is completely overwhelmed by events: he must simultaneously face the perpetual attacks of "colorful" Indians , the multiple romantic imbroglios which are playing out within his home, the sudden crisis of dementia of his wife and finally the drunken wanderings of the local doctor, Doctor Butler, a man particularly given to drink.
